This material is enviromentally stabilized to withstand the harshest outdoor conditions. Starboard plastic will not rust, splinter, or rot when exposed to U.V., humidity, or water. Reminds me of the old days.

I say that because sometimes when you buy niche products you have a specific need, for you suffer because you have to settle for imported, poorly designed and assembled products that on paper fit the bill but won't last a week or simply are not what they claim to be. This product and this company, however, is the polar opposite of that. I ordered the 5 & 5 or half and half catfish and casting stand. When it arrived I was shocked at the quality and detail of every single part of this piece of equipment, it will last a lifetime and it works as described 100% My thanks to the folks that designed and executed this product.
